Trade pattern (Orange)Export patternThe world export of orange was 55.52 lakh tonnes in 2005 of which South Africa was the market leader with 22.24 percent of the volume and 9.63 percent of the value. South Africa was closely followed by Spain with 20.58 percent of the quantity and 31.19 percent of value. Other important exporters included USA (10.51%), Egypt (9.11%), Morocco (4.61%), Greece ( 3.78%), Turkey (3.49%), Netherlands ( 3.29%), Argentina (3.05%), and Australia (2.35%). The following table shows the country-wise export of orange in the world during 2005.
