Central Institute on Research on Buffaloes (CIRB) is a devoted institute to promote and undertake research on all aspects of buffalo production. Major achievements include development of superior germplasm for Murrah bulls. Embryo transfer technology was successfully utilized in buffaloes and Improved technology for freezing of buffalo semen were developed.
